University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore is considering retaking the MBBS and BDS exams of students who had failed them.
The development comes after MBBS and BDS students staged a demonstration outside UHS earlier today with them demanding UHS to reorganize the exams, citing lack of preparation due to the Coronavirus pandemic as the reason behind their failure.
The students called off the protest after the UHS administration assured them to consider their demands in the next meeting of the board members.
The UHS board is set to meet on 24 December to take the final decision regarding organizing MBBS and BDS annual exams next month.
It must be noted here that UHS’s MBBS and BDS annual exams are set to commence on 12 January and 14 January 2021 respectively.
MBBS and BDS students seeking retake could appear in the January exams should the UHS’s board accepts their demands.
