Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, and veteran all-rounder, Mohammad Hafeez, have set the bar for Pakistani batsmen. Both the batsmen were in sublime form throughout the year and finished on top of the charts for most runs scored in T20Is and T20s respectively.
Babar Azam, currently ranked number two T20I batsman in the world, continued his rich vein of form and finished as the leading run-scorer in T20s. He scored 1,242 runs at an average of 56.45 and a strike rate of 136.63. He is followed by the Indian batsman, KL Rahul, and Australian all-rounder, Marcus Stoinis.

Mohammad Hafeez ruled the charts for T20 internationals this year. H finished as the top scorer in T20Is with 415 runs at an average of 83 and a strike rate of 152.57. Hafeez finished off the year with a magnificent 41 against New Zealand in the third T20I. He scored a 99* in the second T20I as well. Hafeez scored four half-centuries this year and hit 36 fours and 20 maximums in 2020.
