PTV MD Reportedly Terminated After Controversial Decisions

Managing Director Pakistan Television (PTV), Aamer Manzoor, had challenged the sacking of several PTV officials which reportedly led to his termination from the state television.

On 1 January, the Board of Directors (BOD) of the state broadcaster, during a meeting presided over by Chairman PTV Naeem Bukhari, had formally suspended Aamer Manzoor on the pretext of “exercising powers beyond prescribed limits.”
