Lahore Police to Provide Security to Citizens Withdrawing Rs. 500,000 or More From Banks

The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore, Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, has announced the provision of security for citizens who withdraw Rs. 500,000 or more from banks.

According to the details, citizens who intend to withdraw an amount of Rs. 500,000 or more from a bank are to visit a nearby police station first and inform the officials there. The local police have been given clear instructions to facilitate such citizens and provide them with a security guard to accompany them throughout the process.

In other news, the CCPO Lahore inaugurated the Ababeel Squad that has been created to control the crime rate and improve the law-and-order situation in the crowded areas of the city. The squad is to function as a support unit for effective patrolling and has been tasked with responding instantly and reaching crime-affected localities on a group of 20 motorbikes.
