Iran Resumes Flight Operations to Pakistan

Iran will resume flight operations to Pakistan and France soon, after suspending it for weeks due to the surge in coronavirus cases.

The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran (CAOI) has permitted air travel to the two countries after placing them on the red list for weeks.

However, “Iran will continue to enforce a tough ban on flights to 13 countries where the highly-infectious British variant of the coronavirus has not been fully contained,” CAOI Spokesman, Mohammad Hassan Zibakhsh, informed.

Iran’s flag carrier IranAir will resume flights to Paris from 27 July till 29 November.

Fight 733 will depart from Imam Khomeini Airport on Mondays at 5:55 AM and arrive at Paris Airport at 9:30 PM.

Despite the resumption of flights to Pakistan and France, Iran has still placed these countries with 26 others that still have a high rate of infection to the virus, adding that flights to those countries will continue with restrictions.
