Punjab Police Launches Internship Program for Students

The Punjab Police have officially announced a four-week internship program in a bid to educate college and university students about the workings of the police department and to help concerned students in terms of research and project-related queries.

The announcement was made by Inspector General Police (IGP), Inam Ghani, who also discussed the program with students during a ceremony at the Central Police Office (CPO).

Besides the IG Punjab, Additional IG Establishment, Ali Amir Malik, Additional IG Logistics, Shahid Hanif, Additional IG Training, Kanwar Shahrukh, and other officers attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, DIG Dr. Suleiman Sultan briefed IGP Ghani that the internship program will commence from the CPO, and nine students from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) will be selected for the internship in the first phase.

Students studying Law, Economics, and Social Sciences will be included in it, and the program will be expanded to the students of major colleges and universities in the upcoming months.
