Babar Overtakes Hashim Amla and Virat Kohli for Yet Another Batting Record

World number one ODI batsman, Babar Azam, became the fastest batsman to score 14 ODI centuries, taking only 81 innings to achieve the feat. Babar achieved the landmark in the third ODI against England as he scored a magnificent 158 off 139 balls, including 14 fours and 4 sixes.

Previously, the record for the fewest innings to reach 14 centuries in the Men’s game was held by the former South African opener, Hashim Amla, who took 84 innings to score 14 ODI centuries. Overall, Australian women cricketer, Meg Lanning, was the previous quickest to achieve the feat, scoring 14 ODI centuries in 82 innings.
