Nineteen-year-old Pakistani climber Shehroze Kashif successfully summited K2 today to become the youngest person to summit the two highest mountains in the world.
He reportedly hoisted the Pakistani flag on the 8,611 m high mountain today at 8:10 AM.
Alpine Adventure Guides shared a post about the achievement that read: “Pakistani team has successfully waved Green Flag on the top of Mighty K2. Multiple teams summit K2 including Kashif. Many many congratulations to whole teams”.

Kashif had started climbing at an early age and ascended the Makra Peak (3,885 m) at 11 years. He then summited Musa Ka Massalah (4,080 m) and the Chembra Peak (4,600 m) at the age of 12, after which he summited Mount Everest on 6 May this year.

The youngster has also scaled the Manglik Sar Shimshal Peak, the K2 Gondogoro La K2 Base Camp, Khurdopin Pass, and Broad Peak.
