Pakistan’s all-format captain, Babar Azam, has had a terrific start to his Test captaincy tenure, winning five out of his first six matches as captain. Babar replaced Azhar Ali as the captain of the Test team last year after Pakistan’s disappointing run of results under Azhar’s leadership. Pakistan had won only 2, drawn 3, and lost 3 matches under the captaincy of Azhar.
