Here’s How Much Domestic Players Will Earn After Revised Salaries

Newly-elected Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Ramiz Raja announced a huge increase in salaries of domestic cricketers during his first press conference as the chairman of the board. He said that the PCB has decided to increase the salary of each first-class cricketer by Rs. 100,000 in a move to incentivize first-class cricketers.


A total of 191 active players in Pakistan’s domestic cricket will now be offered enhanced packages for the upcoming season of domestic cricket.

These retainers are in addition to the match fees, daily allowances share in prize money and PCB-arranged lodging, boarding, and traveling the domestic cricketers will receive during the upcoming season.

Here is the breakdown of the updated salary package:

A total of 10 players have been awarded the A+ category based on their performances in the previous domestic season. These include players that have not been awarded the national team’s central contract by the PCB.
