Xiaomi 14 Design Leaks Were Correct After All

Xiaomi is scheduled to launch its next flagship series of smartphones in China on October 26.

In preparation for the unveiling, the company has released teaser posters providing a glimpse of the rear designs for both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro models. This confirms the design we have been seeing in leaks.

The teaser image only shows a silhouette of the two phones, but if you bump up the brightness, you can actually get a good look at the flagship duo. Take a look at the edited image below.

As with previous iterations, the standard model will be more compact, while the Pro variant is expected to be larger in size. Notably, the Xiaomi 14 series maintains the same distinctive right-angled mid-frame design carried over from the previous generation.

Both models feature a square-shaped camera module at the rear, housing three cameras, and an LED flash. Notably, the Leica logo is positioned at the center of this camera setup. As mentioned earlier, this matches the design we have already seen in early renders.

Xiaomi 14 Pro render

Another promotional poster from the brand shines a spotlight on the camera module of the Xiaomi 14 series, confirming the inclusion of premium Vario-Summilux lenses akin to those found on Leica’s high-end cameras.

The primary camera for the Xiaomi 14 series will sport a 23mm main lens with a variable aperture ranging from f/1.6 to f/2.2, an ultra-wide lens with a 14mm focal length, and a telephoto camera featuring a 75mm focal length and a 3.2x optical zoom.

Rumored Specifications

Reports have also disclosed the color options for these devices. The Xiaomi 14 will be available in shades like black, white, green, and even pink, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro will offer black, white, and green choices.

Both smartphones will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will be offered in three configurations: 12 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage, 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of storage, and a high-end variant with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
