Pakistan Cricket Team is set to play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh as unveiled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The tour is set to kick off the 2024-25 home international season.
The series will commence in Rawalpindi from August 21-25. Karachi will host the second Test from August 30 to September 3.
The announcement has generated excitement among cricket enthusiasts, marking the return of Bangladesh to Pakistani soil for the ICC World Test Championship.
Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto expressed his enthusiasm about the tour.
“As a team, we are looking forward to returning to Pakistan for the ICC World Test Championship.
“Playing in Pakistan is always a challenging but exciting prospect, and we will have to be at our very best to compete against a formidable home side in their backyard.”
