The ninth edition of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 is set to begin in Sri Lanka, with the tournament featuring 15 matches between full-member teams from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and hosts Sri Lanka, alongside Malaysia, UAE, Thailand, and Nepal. The tournament holds added significance as it serves as a prelude to the T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in Bangladesh later this year.
Pakistan is scheduled to take on defending champions India in the second match of the tournament tomorrow. The teams are divided into two groups:

- Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Thailand
