Samsung to Bring Galaxy AI to Budget Phones Soon

Samsung has already brought its Galaxy AI features to its top-tier smartphones. The tech giant appears ready to extend these AI capabilities to its mid-range models.

According to insider sources available to SamMobile, the Galaxy A55 and A35 are expected to be the first mid-range phones to receive Galaxy AI as part of the upcoming One UI 6.1.1 update. While it’s unclear exactly when this will happen, the release is expected within the next one or two months. However, it’s important to note that not all Galaxy AI features will be available on these mid-range devices.

It remains unclear which AI features will be included in the Galaxy A55 and A35. Given the mid-range processors in these phones, it’s likely that Samsung will omit those AI functions demanding the most computing power.

Whether the Galaxy A55 and A35 will be the only mid-range models to receive Galaxy AI is also uncertain. Samsung might restrict the AI suite to its newest devices to boost sales.

Speaking of Samsung’s upcoming software updates, the next big OS patch, One UI 7, is expected to bring a major visual overhaul to Samsung phones, as per a report from notable tipster Ice Universe.

According to the tipster, One UI 7 should bring new app opening and closing animations, changes to app icons, bigger folders, a new control area at the bottom of the screen, a new battery icon and charging animation, a new camera interface, and much more.
