In separate news, authorities at Karachi Airport apprehended 11 individuals who were attempting to travel to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas with the intent of begging.
During a routine operation, the Federal Investigation Agency Immigration detained the suspects as they were about to board flight PK711. The group, consisting of Shahid, Mujahid, Zafar, and eight women from Punjab, was intercepted before their departure.
Investigations uncovered that the suspects had submitted fake return tickets and falsified hotel bookings. The initial inquiry revealed their true intention was to beg in Saudi Arabia.
After their arrest, the suspects were handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further legal action.
