Pakistan U-17 Team Set to Kickstart Training Camp For SAFF Championship Next Month

Pakistan U-17 football team is set to kick off preparations for the upcoming SAFF U-17 Championship with a 10-14 day training camp, tentatively scheduled for the first week of September.

According to sources, Abbottabad is currently under serious consideration as the venue for the camp training camp before the SAFF U-17 Championship.

Sources close to the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) reveal that negotiations are ongoing with potential sponsors, including prominent brands like Candyland, to secure additional financial backing for the camp.

In addition to local sponsorship efforts, FIFA is expected to allocate a significant sum to support the training camp in Abbottabad, underlining the importance of this event for the development of youth football in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) will be responsible for managing all logistical aspects of the Pakistan team’s participation in the SAFF U-17 Championship.
