Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided not to grant No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) to national players participating in the upcoming Zim Afro T10 League.
The decision was revealed following a request from Zimbabwe Cricket, which had sought NOCs for Pakistani players to participate in the Zim Afro T10 league.
Key players, including Shahnawaz Dahani, Asif Ali, and Haider Ali, are slated to take part in the Champions One-Day Cup. These players have been named as essential figures in their teams for the domestic tournament, which the PCB is prioritizing.
However, four other notable cricketers, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Irfan, Sharjeel Khan, and Salman Irshad have been selected for the Zim Afro T10 league but are still awaiting the PCB’s decision regarding their NOCs.
The inaugural Champions One-Day Cup will kick off with a highly anticipated match between the Panthers and the Lions at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
The tournament aims to boost the competitive edge of domestic cricket, providing a platform for national players to showcase their talent ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
As the Champions One-Day Cup approaches, the PCB’s stance on balancing domestic commitments with international league participation remains a critical point of interest.
