Vivo is working on introducing the next step in its V series, the V50 lineup. The first two models in this series are going to be the V50 and V50e, according to newly spotted information. The rumor surfaced shortly after Vivo introduced the Vivo V40e on September 25, 2024.
Smartprix pinpointed two Vivo V50 models by checking the IMEI database. Vivo may be testing other models, but only these two have been confirmed for now.
Vivo V50 Series Expected launch
The Vivo V40 almost resembled the earlier Vivo V30. Now, with the Vivo V50 in testing, expectations are high for this new series. The Vivo V50 may have identical specifications to the Vivo V40, but the company has not yet shared any official details.
Currently, Smartprix confirms that network tests are underway to ensure smooth functionality.
The V50 and V50e have the model numbers V2427 and V2428 respectively according to their IMEI database.
The Vivo V40e had significant upgrades in its processor and charging speed compared to the Vivo V30e. While details about the Vivo V50e remain unclear, it might feature improved cameras, faster charging, and a more powerful processor than the V40e, but this is just speculation.
Expected Release Date
The official release date for the Vivo V50 series has not been set yet. However, we can make predictions based on previous launches. The Vivo V30 debuted in February 2024, and the Vivo V40 arrived in June 2024. This means that the Vivo V50 can be expected in February 2025.
The company has not yet shared any official details about the Vivo V50 as of yet, but we will update this space as soon as there is more information.
