The federal government has made it mandatory for all ministries to forward summaries and files to the Prime Minister’s office through E Office from November 1, 2024.
Sources told ProPakistani that the PM office has forwarded directions to the Cabinet division and Establishment Division regarding the operationalization of the E-Government Module (E Office) in the federal government.
The cabinet division must ensure that all summaries and files will only be received through E Office from 1 November 2024.
The government has been trying to implement the E Office in all federal ministries or divisions.
The government was informed that it can save Rs 2 billion annually by shifting to E office from the paper environment.
