In the meeting with the national team players, Naqvi held one-on-one meetings with both Rizwan and Agha which has indicated that both the players will be appointed as the leaders for the white-ball side.

Ever since former captain, Babar Azam resigned from his role as the captain of the white-ball squad, the debate around the new captain has been hot among the faithful fans and experts surrounding Pakistan cricket.

Pakistan will be hoping that the new captain can help instill the same belief of the series winning red-ball team and carry this momentum onto their next challenge in Australia.

The Men in Green are set to play a 3-match ODI and T20I series Downunder, with the tour set to commence on 4 November.
