Xiaomi recently unveiled HyperOS 2 in China, introducing new software enhancements along with a schedule for domestic device updates.
Now, a leaked list has emerged, outlining the first international Xiaomi devices expected to receive the HyperOS 2 update. The rollout timeline mentions “by Q1 2025,” which could mean that updates might arrive by the end of 2024, though it likely indicates a launch by March 31, 2025.
The image below shows which devices are getting the global HyperOS 2 version first.
The list, according to XIAOMITIME, includes many expected models, such as the latest Xiaomi 14 series, the Xiaomi 14T family, and the Xiaomi 13T and 13 series. Additionally, several Poco models, including the Poco F6 series and Poco X6 Pro 5G, will receive the update.
The Redmi lineup is also part of the initial rollout, with devices like the Redmi Note 13 and the broader Redmi 12 and 13 ranges included.
HyperOS 2 enhances performance and introduces new AI-driven features to optimize the user experience across various device categories. The Chinese release of HyperOS 2 includes various system optimizations, so we expect the international version to incorporate similar improvements. However, Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether they plan to host a global launch event specifically for HyperOS 2 or if they will roll it out more quietly.
Even though there is no official launch date, we expect the global version of HyperOS 2 to debut alongside the international launch of the Xiaomi 15 series, likely happening early next year.
