The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued a public advisory warning citizens against investing in illegal foreign Forex trading platforms. The regulatory body identified Exness, Expert Option, OctaFX, and other similar platforms as unauthorized and illegal.
According to the PTA, these platforms operate without proper licenses and regulatory approvals, posing significant risks to investors. The authority cautioned citizens against investing in these platforms or providing funds to individuals for trading purposes.
The PTA’s advisory comes amid growing concerns about fraudulent activities and financial losses incurred by citizens using these unauthorized platforms. The regulatory body emphasized its commitment to protecting consumers and maintaining the integrity of Pakistan’s financial system.
Citizens are advised to verify the authenticity of Forex trading platforms before investing and to report any suspicious activities to the PTA. The authority will take stringent action against individuals and entities operating illegal trading platforms.
