From the start, Pakistan dominated the field, keeping India on the defensive and stifling any opportunity for a comeback.

Demonstrating control and confidence, Pakistan pulled ahead with key home runs in the second, fourth, and fifth innings, maintaining a strong grip on the game.

Standout performances came from across the roster, with Romail Khan, Mohammad Younis, Zan Shariff, Jibran Murtaza, and Mohammad Hussain contributing significantly to the team’s success.

Meanwhile, pitcher Faisal Hayat’s commanding presence on the mound kept India’s batters off balance, preventing them from finding rhythm and allowing Pakistan to maintain the shutout.

Looking ahead, Pakistan is set to face Afghanistan in their final group-stage match today (November 9) with a clear path to the semi-finals after securing wins over Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, and now India.

Ranked 38th globally, Pakistan will find out the opponents for the knockout round after today’s games.
