Punjab Govt to Offer Interest-Free Loans to Livestock Farmers

Deputy Director (DD) Livestock and Dairy Development Sargodha Dr. Muhammad Tanveer Kalyar said on Wednesday that the Punjab government had decided to give interest-free loans of up to Rs. 270,000 to the livestock farmers, for which Rs. 11 billion have been allocated.

While talking to APP he said that an interest-free loan of Rs. 135,000 to Rs. 270,000 for four months would be given to cattle owners who have a valid CNIC card, have their mobile phone SIM registered and activated in their names, and have five to ten male calves.

He said that facility desks had been set up in all livestock hospitals to receive applications under the livestock card initiative, where trained staff were helping farmers file applications through the app.

He said that people could also apply through the app by writing the PLC (space) ID card number in their mobile message and sending it to 8070. For more information, the nearest animal hospital or department can be contacted on 080009211, he added.

    • یہ کونسہ دینے لگے ہیں ایک بے سہارا شخص نے بار بار التجا کرتا رہا کہ خدارا مجھے ایک کمرے کا گھر قسط پر عنایت فرمایا جائے اور مجھے ادھی مزدوری کی قسط بنا کر دی جائے کسی نے نہ سنی وہ لاچار صرف اتنا کہہ کر خاموش ہو گیا کہ اے حاکم وقت روزِمحشر اللہ تعالیٰ کی عدالت میں میں آپنا یہ فیصلہ کرواؤں گا کیونکہ مجھ سے تو دریائے فرات کے کنارے پر واقع کتا بھی اچھا ہے کیونکہ اس وقت کے حکمران کو اس کیے بھوکے پیاسے ہو نے کی فکر تھی۔😭😭
