Additionally, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has leaked specifications, offering a glimpse of what to expect.

Oppo Find N5 Rumored Specifications

The Oppo Find N5 will reportedly feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, marking it the first foldable phone to use this processor. It will include a 50MP triple camera system with a periscope telephoto lens, wireless charging, and run on ColorOS 15.

The N5 is expected to be lighter and thinner than its predecessor, the Find N3, while it offers improved battery life, an anti-fall construction, and IPX8 waterproofing for added durability.

Leaks suggest conflicting battery capacities for the device, with reports of a 5,700 mAh and a 6,000 mAh battery. Either option would make it a strong contender in the foldable market.

Expected Launch Timeline

Zhou’s previous poll hinted that Oppo has finalized the “Find N5” name for its next foldable. The current feedback effort indicates that Oppo aims to address multiple areas of improvement for the new device. Expected to launch in Q1 2025, however, the Find N5 may debut worldwide under the OnePlus Open 2 moniker.

In addition to the Find N5, Oppo is reportedly working on the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini, two compact flagship devices. In January 2025, China is likely to unveil all three models.
