Motorola has introduced three new entry-level smartphones to its Moto G series: G15, G15 Power, and G05. These devices focus on delivering long-lasting battery life and are the first in the Moto G lineup to run Android 15 out of the box.
The Moto G15 and G15 Power are nearly identical, with the key difference being their battery capacities. The G15 Power features a 6,000 mAh battery, while the G15 has a 5,200 mAh battery. This makes the G15 Power slightly bulkier, measuring 8.8 mm thick and weighing 203g, compared to the G15’s 8.2 mm thickness and 190g weight.
Both devices feature a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD with a punch-hole cutout for the 8 MP selfie camera. They sport a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP ultrawide camera on the back.
Powered by the Helio G81 chipset, both phones include 4 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB, expandable via a microSD slot. Other features include dual SIM support, a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio, NFC, and vegan leather backs. Color choices include Gravity Gray, Iguana Green, and Sunrise Orange.
The Moto G05 shares the Helio G81 chipset with the G15 models but has a smaller 6.67-inch LCD with a lower HD+ resolution. It features a simpler design and weighs slightly less at 189g with the same 8.2 mm thickness.
This phone also has a 50 MP main camera, but it includes a basic auxiliary sensor instead of an ultrawide lens. It offers 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage, with microSD support for expansion. The G05 retains features like dual SIM, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.4. NFC is available in select regions. The color options are Forest Green and Plum Red.
Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G15, G15 Power, and G05 will be launched in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. However, the company has not disclosed pricing or specific launch dates yet.
