Hyundai Nishat Motors is gearing up to introduce the facelifted 8th-generation Sonata in Pakistan, sparking excitement among car enthusiasts and industry insiders alike. The international version of the facelifted Sonata has already turned heads with its bold styling and advanced features. While Hyundai Nishat Motors has not disclosed the exact specifications for the Pakistani market, the international model provides a glimpse of what buyers can anticipate.
For Pakistan, the current Sonata offers a 2.0-liter engine producing 152 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque, and a 2.5-liter engine delivering 191 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. It remains to be seen if Hyundai will introduce any additional engine options with the facelift.
The Sonata entered the Pakistani market in July 2021 and quickly gained popularity for its blend of luxury, performance, and affordability compared to imported competitors like the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
