England’s Sam Billings Joins the PSL 10 Draft

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) announced on Friday that England’s wicketkeeper-batter Sam Billings has officially signed up for the player draft for the 10th edition of the league.

Billings is no stranger to the PSL, having previously played in two editions of the league. His most notable stint came in 2023 when he was part of the Lahore Qalandars squad that clinched the PSL title.

Throughout his PSL career, Billings has played 20 matches, scoring 402 runs at an average of 25.12 and a strike rate of 131.37. His highest score in the league is an unbeaten 78, showcasing his ability to anchor innings and accelerate when needed.

Sam Billings is known for his versatility and ability to adapt to different roles in the batting order.

In addition to his international experience, Billings has built an impressive resume in franchise leagues around the world. He has featured in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Big Bash League (BBL), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), and International League T20 (ILT20).

His ability to perform under pressure and his sharp wicketkeeping skills make him a sought-after player in T20 leagues globally.

With his registration, Billings becomes the eighth English player to enter the draft for PSL 10, joining a growing list of international stars eager to participate in PSL 10. Overall, he is the 33rd foreign player to register for the draft.
