The Crime Control Department (CCD) in Lahore will receive 319 vehicles to support its operations, according to 24NewsHD TV, citing police officials. The department had requested additional resources to enhance law enforcement efforts.
The allocation includes 27 cars for police officials, along with 73 double-cabin and 219 single-cabin vehicles for CCD personnel. Senior officers of SSP rank and above will be assigned one car and one double-cabin vehicle, while DSPs will receive a double-cabin vehicle.
Investigation and operations in-charges will each be provided with a single-cabin vehicle. Additionally, six single-cabin vehicles will be designated for various offices in Lahore, while another six will be distributed among major districts.
In A-category districts, three single-cabin vehicles will be allocated, while B-category districts will receive two.
The CPO will supply computers, furniture, weapons, and other essential equipment to support the department’s functions. Meanwhile, the Additional Inspector General of CCD has already submitted a request for final approval from higher authorities.

What is this? It means the new vehicles would be used by the families of SSP and DSPs, wow what a decision….. If you want to control crime then hand over the vehicles to the field teams who actually work, yey SSPs and DSPs only eat bread sitting homes….
