Sindh Govt Launches Job Portal

The Sindh government has introduced a job portal designed to create employment opportunities for citizens, featuring job listings from both government and private sector organizations.

The launch event was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, business community leaders, and other prominent figures, according to Express News.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted that 65% of Pakistan’s population consists of youth, and the portal has been specifically developed to cater to their employment needs. He explained that both educated individuals and skilled workers could upload their CVs to access opportunities.

Memon further stated that, in addition to government jobs, the portal would facilitate connections between job seekers and private sector employers. He pointed out that while many young individuals aspire to government positions, initiatives like the People’s Housing Scheme are also generating employment for skilled labor.

Sindh CM: Job Portal to Connect Talent with Opportunities

Speaking at the event, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized that the newly launched job portal would enable the province’s youth to register for employment opportunities. He stressed that when talent meets opportunity, progress follows, urging job seekers and employers to sign up in large numbers.

He noted that job advertisements for grades 1 to 4 would be published on the portal, while positions for grades 5 to 15 would be filled through the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) to ensure a transparent recruitment process. Temporary jobs will also be integrated into the system, with efforts underway to promote the platform for wider participation.

Shah reiterated the PPP’s dedication to serving the people of Sindh, especially in light of the hardships caused by recent floods. He revealed that, under Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision, a project for 2.1 million homes has been initiated, with over 800,000 houses already completed. He added that if the homes built for flood victims were considered as a separate country, it would be larger than 800 nations worldwide.
