This incident comes shortly after the May 6 air strikes by India, which had already escalated security concerns in the region. Following those strikes, the Pakistan Super League and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had assured fans that the tournament would proceed as planned.

Authorities are currently assessing the security implications, and it remains uncertain whether the scheduled match will take place as planned.

Officials and organizers are expected to make an announcement soon regarding the status of the PSL fixture in light of this development. Fans and players alike await further updates amid the ongoing security concerns.
