PCB Working on Resuming PSL 10 Soon

The future of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 will become clear soon, with reports suggesting that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is actively working behind the scenes to bring the tournament back on track.

PSL 10 was suspended with just eight matches remaining due to tensions between India and Pakistan. With that dispute now in the past, the board is holding crucial discussions to decide how and where the remaining games can be safely played. According to sources, the PCB is seriously considering hosting the rest of the PSL 10 matches in Rawalpindi and Lahore, rather than relocating the event abroad—though a final decision is expected within the next 48 hours.

The match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators, originally scheduled to be played in Multan, is also likely to be moved to Rawalpindi or Lahore, depending on logistical and security assessments.

The PCB is in contact with all six PSL franchises, who are in turn communicating with their overseas players to check their availability and willingness to return. After resolving these issues, a new schedule for the remaining matches will be released. If everything goes according to plan, the revised schedule could be announced within a week.

Last week, PSL 10 was brought to a sudden halt after a drone crash near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium sparked serious safety concerns. Since then, all international players and media staff have left Pakistan.

Despite the disruption, the PCB remains hopeful. Officials are working hard to ensure that the tournament can continue in a safe and secure environment while keeping the excitement of PSL alive for fans across the country.
