The federal government has officially declared a four-day public holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, according to a press release issued by the Cabinet Division on Monday.
As per the notification, public holidays will be observed on June 6, 7, 8, and 9 (Friday to Monday) across the country. The announcement applies to both public and private offices that follow five-day and six-day working weeks.
The notification follows the Cabinet Division’s earlier circular regarding the schedule of public and optional holidays for 2025.
The government has advised relevant departments and institutions to widely circulate the notification through major print and electronic media outlets.
