The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has officially rolled out Ajrak-themed number plates, now available for all registered vehicle owners in the province.
These plates are a tribute to Sindh’s cultural heritage and can be acquired through both in-person and online methods.
Eligibility and Application Process
Vehicle owners who have cleared their taxes and have their vehicles registered in their own name are eligible to apply. There are two ways to get the new Ajrak plates:
- Option 1: Visit your nearest excise office.
- Option 2: Apply online via the official portal excise.gos.pk or the mobile app.
To apply online:
1. Click on “Quick Online Pay Taxes.”
2. Enter your mobile number and vehicle registration number.
3. A new window will appear, allowing you to apply for a replacement number plate and choose your preferred collection facility.
Fees
- Four-wheelers: Approx. Rs. 2,450
- Two-wheelers: Approx. Rs. 1,850
Payment can be made via online banking, digital platforms, or challan deposit at banks.
Delivery and Collection
You can track your application under the “Check Your Number Plate” section on the website. Once it’s ready for collection, you must visit your selected excise branch with your original file and old number plate, even if damaged. If the plate is lost, apply for a duplicate.

Helpline pr call karo koi response nhi kitni email b keen koi response nhi lagta ha Qaud e Azam sir ko lajna pary ga phr kam ho ga
I ordered mine on 3rd of March 2025. Expecting delivery in February 2026.

I thought these were standard government-issue plates in Sindh. Been seeing a lot of these in Islamabad for quite some time now.
Maine online tax payment kardi Hai bike ki number plate k liye but helpline per bhi call Nahi lag Rahi or naa hi website per koi response mil Raha so plz tell me what should I do?
Ajrak Number plates: Go’s has created a new source to get bribes for handing over ajrak number plate and has made life of Karachities extremely miserable. I paid online on 30th. Jan 2025 but could not get ANP inspite of several visit during the month of June. With the age of 79 years with heart patient how long I have to run after, I don’t know.
