GC Women University Starts Summer Camp

Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) has launched its month-long Summer Camp 2025, centered on the theme “Transforming the Academic Ecosystem with AI and Professional Growth.”

The opening ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Vice Chancellor of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor of GCWUF, chaired the event.

Organized by the Faculty & Staff Development Center, the camp aims to provide practical training for academic and administrative staff (BPS-16 and above). It is designed to enhance their skills in line with modern trends and to support personal and professional development.

Following the inauguration, a series of interactive and skill-focused sessions began. Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen led an engaging workshop on stress and time management, while Dr. Saira Saroya, from Southern Connecticut State University in the USA, discussed pathways for career advancement through international scholarships and fellowships.

Additionally, the Director of IT Services and his team delivered a hands-on training session on the use of AI tools at the Skill Development Center, equipping participants with essential digital skills.

The summer camp will continue through July 31, 2025, featuring a variety of training sessions aimed at transforming educational practices through innovation and technology.
