Pakistan Champions look set to build on their impressive debut campaign at the World Championship of Legends after adding more firepower through Imad Wasim and Rumman Raees.
The franchise confirmed Rumman’s addition on Sunday through an announcement on social media, welcoming him as the latest piece of their veteran lineup.
“Aajao Dost!! Team owner Kamil Khan welcomes Rumman Raees to the Pakistan Champions family. Let’s bring more fire to the roar,” the team posted after the pacer announced his desire to reunite with the heroes of Pakistan’s 2017 Champions Trophy triumph.
Both Rumman and Imad bring plenty of T20 experience to the team, with 515 T20 games between them. They join Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed, Sharjeel Khan, Wahab Riaz, Asif Ali, Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal, Aamer Yamin, Sohail Khan, and Sohail Tanvir in the squad, with more names likely to be confirmed soon.
Earlier this week, Pakistan Champions named former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez as captain. The tournament, which brings together retired stars from Pakistan, India, Australia, England, South Africa, and the West Indies, starts on July 18 at Edgbaston.
Pakistan Champions will open their campaign against England Champions on the first day. The highly anticipated match against India Champions will follow on July 20 at the same venue.
Pakistan Champions Fixtures:

The knockout matches will be held on July 31, with the final scheduled for August 2.
