Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Friday notified the power suspension program for Saturday (July 12, 2025) for various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to the electricity supplier, following areas in Islamabad will face power suspension on Saturday.
In the Rawalpindi City area, the following areas will face power suspension for various durations.
The power supplier has also issued a long list of areas in the Rawalpindi Cantt that will face power suspension.
Lastly, another list shows five areas that will face electricity suspension in the Islamabad circle.

Pure nonsense. Nowhere in the world including in the developing countries, electricity supply is disrupted for hours in the name of ‘maintenance’. Here in this country there is daily load shedding of hours in the name of ‘maintenance’ or ‘ technical faults’. Why? Why? Why?
There is no daily load shedding and everything needs maintainence for long term operational needs. Therefore stop crying like a child and learn to live in reality.
