Pakistan’s first-ever all-electric pickup truck, the Riddara RD6, has officially launched, marking a bold step forward in the country’s electric vehicle landscape. The announcement was made by Capital Smart Motors (CSM), the official distributor of the vehicle, through a post on their official Facebook page.
The company described the RD6 as where “electric innovation meets everyday utility” and confirmed that the truck will be offered at a starting price of Rs. 13,299,000 for initial customers.
Manufactured by Radar Auto, a subsidiary of China’s Geely Auto Group, the Riddara RD6 combines bold design with high-end performance. Globally, the RD6 is powered by a 315 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, generating 595 Nm of torque and reaching 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
It has a top speed of 190 km/h and a range of up to 455 km thanks to its 86 kWh ternary lithium battery. The pickup also supports fast DC charging, with a 30–80% charge achievable in around 32 minutes.
The RD6’s interior is outfitted with synthetic leather seats, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and multi-mode driving options, including sport and off-road. These features aim to cater to both commercial users and tech-savvy urban drivers.
