Pakistan’s youth football dream is alive and thriving in Oslo as Better Future Pakistan has reached the final of the prestigious Norway Cup 2025 in the Boys 15 category, capping off a flawless campaign with a string of commanding performances.
Representing Pakistan in one of the world’s largest youth football tournaments, the team has captured attention across Europe with their energy, discipline, and attacking flair. Having won all eight matches en route to the final, they’ve netted a staggering 36 goals while conceding just five—making them the second-highest scoring team in the category.
Their journey began in Group 6, where they dismantled Stabæk Fotball 2 (8-0), blanked Bergen Nord (3-0), and dominated Krokelvdalen IL 2 (5-0) to top the group with a perfect record and a +16 goal difference.
From there, the knockout stages saw the Pakistani boys maintain their momentum. They registered convincing wins over: Levanger FK (4-0) in the Round of 32, Skeid (4-2) in the Round of 16, Stjørdals-Blink (4-0) in the Round of 8, Greåker IF (4-2) in the quarterfinals, and Gjelleråsen (4-1) in the semifinal.
With a commendable fair play record—collecting 16 green cards—Better Future Pakistan has embodied sportsmanship alongside quality football.
The final of the Norway Cup awaits the team today, where Better Future Pakistan will take on Norwegian side Gjøvik-Lyn FK at Ekeberg 01. A win would not only crown them champions but also mark one of the most significant international achievements by a Pakistani youth football team in recent history.
The Norway Cup, which brings together over 1,400 teams from across the globe, has long served as a springboard for emerging talent. For Better Future Pakistan, this campaign is more than just a tournament run—it’s a bold statement about the future of football in Pakistan.
