Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has unveiled two upgraded models in Pakistan, the Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG and the Sherpa Power 1.2L. The launch reinforces Changan’s strong position in the 7-seater MPV and mini truck segments, with enhanced engine power, new features, and revised pricing aimed at families and commercial operators alike.
The updated Karvaan model sees a major shift under the hood and inside the cabin. Replacing the previous 1.0L engine, the 2025 version is now equipped with a slightly more powerful 1.2L unit. According to MCML, this offers significantly improved torque and horsepower, while also increasing fuel efficiency.
Also launched was the Sherpa Power 1.2L, a compact mini-truck primarily aimed at logistics and small business use. It shares the same upgraded 1.2L engine as the Karvaan, allowing for better hauling performance, especially in mixed-terrain conditions.
According to the company, the Karvaan has sold over 25,000 units in Pakistan and holds more than 52% market share in the 7-seater MPV category. MCML’s focus is on improving utility, safety, and performance while maintaining affordability.
Both models are now available at Changan dealerships across Pakistan.
