Punjab has the highest number of donkeys among all provinces in Pakistan, followed by Sindh in second place and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in third, according to a report by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Balochistan has the lowest donkey population compared to other provinces.
The report states that the number of donkeys in Punjab has reached 2.403 million, while Sindh has 1.081 million and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 782,000.
In Balochistan, the donkey population stands at 630,000, whereas in the federal capital Islamabad, 4,000 donkeys have been recorded.
