NADRA Launches New Feature to Track ID Applications from Home

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new feature in its Pak-ID mobile app, giving applicants the ability to monitor the status of their identity card or document applications from home.

According to NADRA officials, the process is simple and user-friendly, requiring only a few taps on the app to view real-time updates. The new option covers a wide range of services, including CNICs, B-Forms, Family Registration Certificates, and other official documents.

NADRA’s spokesperson explained that nearly all services are now accessible through the app, eliminating the need for repeated visits to NADRA offices. Only first-time ID card applicants will still be required to appear at an office once.

The authority highlighted that the service is not limited to residents of Pakistan. Overseas Pakistanis can also benefit from the feature, which is expected to save time, reduce costs, and improve transparency in the application process.
