Federal Minister for Education, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, officially inaugurated the Customer Care Desk (CCD) developed by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), which aims to streamline document verification and other student services.
The newly launched CCD Portal, designed by IBCC, will enable students nationwide to verify their academic credentials online through a dedicated customer support system. According to Executive Director Ghulam Ali Mallah, students can now track the status of their certificate verification using a QR code-based system.
“The public’s convenience is our top priority,” said Mallah, adding that the portal has been in beta testing for the past six months and is now fully accessible to the public.
The service also caters to Pakistani students and parents residing abroad. Mallah confirmed that queries sent to the CCD via email will be addressed within 24 hours, offering an efficient solution for those unable to visit in person.
Students from any region in the country can now lodge complaints or request services related to their academic documents 24/7 via the portal. The CCD aims to reduce processing times and improve communication between students and the IBCC.
Minister Siddiqui lauded the initiative, calling it a step forward in digitizing education services and making bureaucratic processes more accessible and transparent for students.
