An Emirati-owned coffee brand, Roasters, has earned a place in the Guinness World Records for serving the world’s most expensive cup of coffee, priced at Dh2,500. The achievement was officially recognized on September 13 at the brand’s flagship outlet on Boulevard Downtown Dubai.
Konstantin Harbuz, co-founder and CEO, said the milestone highlights both the dedication of the Roasters team and Dubai’s emerging reputation as a global hub for extraordinary coffee experiences. Launched in Dubai, the brand has now expanded to 11 branches across the UAE, attracting enthusiasts with its commitment to premium beans and expert brewing.
The record-breaking beverage is a hand-brewed V60 coffee crafted with rare Panamanian Geisha beans from the Esmeralda farm, celebrated for their delicate floral aroma and fruity undertones. Guests are served the brew with tiramisu, chocolate ice cream, and a Geisha-infused chocolate piece, creating a complete sensory experience.
Prepared tableside by a dedicated barista, the coffee is poured with precision using a temperature-controlled kettle and V60 dripper, then presented in a handcrafted Edo Kiriko crystal glass from Japan. Flavor cards are also provided to help customers savor the unique tasting notes, underscoring the artistry and exclusivity of the experience.
