Pakistan Set to Reshuffle Playing XI Again for Sri Lanka Clash

As Pakistan gears up for a crucial Super Fours showdown against Sri Lanka tonight, the playing XI changes have already been leaked, yet again.

A similar incident occurred before Pakistan’s game against India, when the entire line-up was revealed several hours ahead of the match.

According to senior journalist Sohail Imran, Pakistan is set to tweak its playing XI once more, with Hussain Talat expected to be dropped after featuring in just one game against India. Talat’s inclusion didn’t quite shift the momentum for his team as he managed only 10 runs with the bat and didn’t get a chance to bowl. In his place, Pakistan is likely to recall Hasan Nawaz, who was benched for the India clash.

That decision seemed to backfire, as Pakistan lost steam in the middle overs, something Hasan is expected to help fix tonight. The adjustment marks yet another shuffle in Pakistan’s campaign, as the team management continues its search for the right balance in the batting lineup.

Pakistan’s Expected Playing XI Against Sri Lanka:

Fakhar Zaman, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha (c), Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Haris (WK), Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, Abrar Ahmed.

Pakistan’s think tank has faced criticism for frequent changes throughout the tournament, but the management seems determined to find the most effective combination ahead of this must-win clash. With the race to the Asia Cup final heating up, every selection call could be a game-changer.

Will Hasan Nawaz’s return spark a turnaround in Pakistan’s batting fortunes or will another loss edge them closer to an early exit? All will be revealed tonight.

  • The 2 players found to disobey the protocol and sportsmanship should face disciplinary hearings.

Look I hate india probably more than the entire team and I know more facts then they do.

But if I am losing , the least I can do is show I am not a sore loser. It reflects badly on me and my country.

The gestures were seen globally and can even show how pakistan team is unprofessional
