The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has formally approved the development of the Margalla Orchard Park Road Housing Scheme during its 43rd Executive Board meeting at the Ministry of Housing and Works.
According to a press release issued Tuesday, the Board sanctioned a tripartite development agreement for the project. The scheme will be developed in collaboration with the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) and the Supreme Court Bar Association.
The formal signing ceremony of the agreement between the three entities is scheduled for September 26. Officials confirmed that the agreement has already been vetted and cleared by the Ministry of Law. Following the signing, development work will begin at an accelerated pace to ensure timely completion.
The project aims to provide allottees with a modern, world-class residential community. The plan includes dedicated spaces for commercial areas, parks, educational institutions, mosques, and other essential public amenities.
Director General FGEHA, Captain (R) Zafar Iqbal, congratulated all allottees and assured them that the rights of federal employees who have already been allotted plots remain fully protected. He emphasized that transparency, efficiency, and service delivery will continue to be the Authority’s top priorities.
