Pakistani Man Wins Lottery in UAE

After 15 years of perseverance, Abu Dhabi resident Saeed Hafiz Abdul Majeed finally achieved his long-awaited victory.

The 33-year-old Pakistani expatriate, who works for a construction company, has lived in the UAE since 2009 while his family remains in Pakistan.

Since 2010, he has actively participated in the Big Ticket draw, purchasing at least one ticket every month without fail.

Majeed expressed his joy after winning Dh 50,000 with ticket number 341851 in Big Ticket’s weekly electronic draw.

“I have been buying Big Tickets for more than 15 years. Thank you so much — you made my day,” he told host Richard with a smile.

He said he had a strong feeling this time that luck was on his side. “When I bought the ticket, I felt confident. I wanted to hear your voice — something I’ve been waiting to experience for years. Everyone hopes for that call,” he said.

The timing of the win proved perfect for Majeed. “You called me when I needed it the most. I plan to invest the prize money in expanding my business. I was struggling financially, and then your call came through. You are like an angel to me. I’m truly grateful,” he said.

Majeed encouraged others to stay persistent. “Keep trying. If you don’t take a chance, you won’t win. You never know when luck might favor you — it could happen when you need it the most,” he said.
