Punjab to Upgrade DSP Investigation Offices Across All Districts

The Punjab Police has decided to upgrade all Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) Investigation offices across the province to improve working conditions and investigation standards.

According to the report, surveys have already begun in all districts to assess the current condition of DSP Investigation offices. In Lahore alone, 22 DSP offices will be upgraded under the initiative.

Officials said the Inspector General (IG) Office has directed police departments to complete the surveys and submit detailed reports at the earliest. Funds for the upgradation will be released to the police in the next fiscal term.

Furthermore, all DSP Investigation offices will be developed into state-of-the-art facilities, equipped with modern resources and infrastructure to enhance efficiency in investigations and service delivery.
