The Sindh government has issued a public warning against fake online messages and advertisements claiming registration or payment requirements for the Pink Scooty Scheme, clarifying that the scooters are being provided completely free of cost to eligible women.
In an alert shared through the Sindh Information Department’s official X account, the provincial government said it has taken serious notice of fraudulent claims circulating on social media, which falsely suggest that citizens can apply for the scheme by making online payments.
“The government has not authorized any website, link, or person to collect money or personal information under the Pink Scooty Scheme,” the statement said, calling such messages fabricated and misleading.
