The Lahore administration has announced revised wage rates for laborers, setting new minimum salaries for skilled and unskilled workers across the city.
According to the official notification, the daily wage for unskilled laborers has been fixed at Rs1,538, bringing their monthly salary to Rs40,000.
Similarly, semi-skilled workers will now earn Rs1,558 per day, equivalent to a monthly income of Rs43,108.
The notification further states that skilled laborers will receive a daily wage of Rs1,975, with their monthly salary set at Rs45,945.
Officials said the revised rates aim to provide fair compensation in line with inflation and the rising cost of living, ensuring that workers in Lahore receive equitable pay for their labor.
